The measurement
The sensor moves along your spine and measures the skin temperature on both sides. All you have to do is sit or stand still. It takes a few minutes.

Why a scan at a chiropractor?
Pain is a poor guide. Where you feel it is often not where it comes from. A scan makes left-right differences visible that you would not notice yourself, and gives a starting point to compare against later. If you are scanned again after a number of treatments, you can see whether anything has changed. That makes the conversation about your progress a good deal more concrete.
What is a thermographic scan?
A thermographic scan measures the skin temperature on the left and right sides along your spine. The nervous system plays a role in regulating blood flow, and differences in temperature between left and right can point to areas where something is out of balance.
The scan uses no radiation and nothing about it hurts. You sit or stand upright while a sensor moves along your back. It is done within a few minutes.
Worth knowing: a scan is not a diagnosis in itself. It is additional information alongside your story and the physical examination. Together the three give a complete picture.
The thermographic scan is part of the intake, which costs EUR 65 and takes about 40 minutes.
